Gluten Free Chef's Salad

 Chef's salad is a generic term for a salad with anything and everything on it. This is a very simple thing to make and they are so yummy. A chef's salad is simply a really good sandwich with no bread and extra vegetables. Start with a bed of greens.

  • Romaine
  • Iceberg
  • Leaf Lettuce
  • Boston
  • Bib
  • Endive
  • Arugula
  • Baby Spinach

Then add some vegetables

  • Carrots
  • Cucumbers
  • Tomatoes
  • Edamame
  • Beets
  • Hearts of palm
  • Artichoke hearts
  • Red Onions

Next is sliced or shreaded Meat and Cheese

  • Turkey
  • Chicken
  • Beef
  • Hard Boiled Eggs
  • Cheddar
  • Colby
  • Swiss

Now for something crunchy

  • Bacon Bits
  • Roasted Pine Nut
  • Sunflower Seeds
  • Gluten Free Croutons

These are all just suggestions.  Choose what you like and then top it with your favorite dressing. Then simply enjoy!
