Gluten Free Cranberry Orange Chutney
Cranberries are a great antioxidant. They have a bright tart flavor that complement just about anything. I am not a fan of the jellies or the canned berries. I like the fresh berries. Since I can only buy them in the fall and winter I sock up. I put them in zipper freezer bags and store them in the freezer. They keep for a very long time.
- 2 Cups Fresh Cranberries
- 1 Orange
I grind everything with an old fashion meat grinder. I think you could use a food processor, but be careful not to over do it. You want chopped not puréed. Add 3/4 to 1 cup of sugar and taste adjusting sweetness as desired. Stir well and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving. Live, Laugh and Enjoy! ~Fire-Eyes
