Gluten Free Sloppy Joes

I have never cared for the canned sauce that is added to brown ground meat. I find it too sweet and it also has too many ingredients. This loose meat dish can be served on bake or mashed potatoes, on gluten free rolls, or topping some fresh noodles.  Kids always seem to love this one and it is so quick to make.

Sloppy Joes

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion diced
  • 1 green pepper diced
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Season Salt
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 Teaspoon Ground Mustard
  • 1/2 Cup Ketchup
  • 1/4 Cup Prepare Mustard ( I like brown, but you can use any you like)
  • 1/2 Cup Water

Add more off anything you like. After all this is your food. You should make it the way you want to eat it.

First brown your ground beef.

Add your onions and green peppers

cook until onions are clear

add the rest of your ingredients

turn down your burning to a simmer

let that cook down to a thick sauce, about 10-15 minutes.

Live, Laugh and Enjoy!
