Shampoo and Conditioner Made at Home

baking-soda-or-sodium-bicarbonate This is a short but sweet little post. I hope it helps you in your quest. Some shampoos and conditioners have gluten in them. I am still not sure why. The simple alternatives are baking soda and white vinegar.  Use the baking soda to scrub your scalp with and to remove any product in your hair. Make sure you rinse very well. Using a rinse of 50/50 water and white vinegar levels your PH balance. You DO NOT, however want any baking soda left in your hair. The chemical reaction is violent and hot! Most days you do not need to wash your hair. Just give it a good rinse and then rinse again with your vinegar mixture. Live, Laugh, and Enjoy!   ~Fire-Eyes
